Discovery Academy of Science – Pasco is now accepting applications for the 2027–28 school year, with classes beginning in August 2027.

Discovery Academy of Science – Pasco is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Grades K–8. The school has been officially approved by the Pasco County School Board and is part of the established Discovery Academy of Science family, which has successfully served students in Pinellas County for 13 years.

As this is the inaugural year of our Pasco campus, limited seats will be available. Families are strongly encouraged to apply early. Our Pinellas campus receives more than 1,000 applications each year, and a lottery is used when applications exceed available seats. For the opening year of our Pasco campus, applications will be reviewed as they are received, and eligible students may be offered seats while availability remains. If the number of applications exceeds capacity, student admission will be determined in accordance with charter school enrollment procedures.

Our new Pasco campus is currently under construction and will be located at the southeast corner of State Road 56 and Wyndfields Blvd./Two Riggs Road in Pasco County, Florida. The official street address is currently pending county and USPS assignment.

One of the major requirements is to help students learn how to learn – to have critical thinking and communication skills necessary for success in the world of tomorrow.
